How to purchase Poultry from Blue House Farm

Day Old Female Chicks:
We receive sexed, vaccinated chicks from the hatchery. We'll post availability here. Prices for chicks are good for up to one week of age. Farm hours for pick up are 9-11am every day but please always let us know when you want to come out so that we can be sure to have time for you and that we have chicks available!
Before you pick up chicks make sure that you have a brooder with heat, food and water set up for them.

Started Pullets (females 6-8 weeks old, ready to live outside in your coop):
We take reservations for started pullets as soon as we receive female day old chicks from the hatchery. We'll raise your reserved birds until they are fully feathered and old enough to live outside without heat. Prices for started pullets are good for pick up between 6 and 8 weeks old.

Day old straight run (not sexed) chicks from our own flocks are available for pick up at the farm. We don't ship chicks (we do ship hatching eggs).

Day old, straight run (not sexed) ducklings are available for farm pick up only. Please check here for availability. Bantam Silkie ducklings are generally only available in spring, Welsh Harlequins might be available spring, summer and fall, depending on incubator space and egg availability.

Hatching eggs from our flocks are available for shipping and farm pick up. Please contact us for current availability or check here. We ship hatching eggs on Mondays.
Goose and silkie duck eggs are only available in spring. Chicken and Welsh Harlequin duck eggs are available as long as they are laying which sometimes is year round.
